Answer: Hi! It makes no difference at all if you are in India or anywhere on the globe. As long as you have access to a computer and an internet connection then you are ready to start a home-based business. How remote you and the person who hires you are never thwarts your receipt of neither the job requirements nor the work.
Just hunt for opportunities and keep searching for the suitable job. A gigantic number of websites provide plentiful categories of jobs. So you can choose a job according to your study specialization or one that would employ your skills in the most efficient way. Search online through search engines for keywords such as 'freelance jobs' or 'online jobs' and I am sure you will find something convenient for you.
Jobs vary from copywriting, translation, data entry, graphic design to programming and engineering projects. The amount you charge your service would vary according to the difficulty of the job and according to your adeptness and quickness in doing it.
Another home based generating business is creating a website and using applications such as AdSense. It's not only about creating the website, however, but also about keeping it up to date, attractive and user-friendly so that you can increase the traffic on your website and consequently have some revenue coming from your website.

Answer: Go for setting a small bakery service on top of your roof. Set a shade, put some oven, employ few labors or cooks, do some biscuit manufacturing! Apply some out of market flavor to the biscuits, get them stiff, I mean dry differently, market them to the stores.
You would need some capital to do this. I am not sure from your post if you are having any capital constraints or not. If you do not like bakery, you may like boutique. If you want to do boutique, I will be interested to buy them. Just joking.
The best opportunity can be doing some data entry works, offline. Or you can surely go for some boutique works, hand stitch, cooking service, block printing and so on. Listen there is no end of ideas that I can advice you. But you need to choose your area of interest that matches best with your competitive skill sets. So set your mind first, what you want to do specifically and what sort of background research you need to do. Complete the back ground research, analyze the findings, formulate a plan and start to implement the plan. Get going with the business start up, seek opportunity for more financing on it. It can help your home based works to grow bigger in size.
