Indian government has formed several programs to develop the condition of the Indian villages and the people living in the country. The government has not only developed different programs for the betterment of the Indian peasants but it has also designed multiple policies for the upliftment of Indian women and children. One such program is the Anganwadi scheme.

Main aim of this scheme is to help the Indian women and children get one square meal and other basic requirements to be able to lead normal life.

Anganwadi schemes are meant for the Indian women and children in villages. Anganwadi recruitment 2010 reports so far show that numerous people have been recruited for carrying out the project.
