I am a commerce graduate from Kolkata (India). I want to set up a small scale business (manufacturing & selling unit) with these products -
- Packaged drinking water
- Dry snacks (bhujia).
- What is the estimate amount to be contributed as capital (Detailed)?
- Also, I would like to know that if there is any scope to get Helps from govt. or any organization.
- Please give me some effective ideas so i can start my project as early as possible very strongly.
Answer:
The business you are talking about requires a lot of investment. Even if you get loan from government, you require providing some 25% margin. It is not impossible, but it is difficult. You need to have roughly $ 0.45 million of capital.
And on that margin, you can get loan around $ 1.5 million. This loan will be on mortgage. But as far as fast food is concerned, there is not much capital required. You can even start from your own fund. Because it is something which you can start from small and expand it further.
So my suggestion to you is to start from fast-food and expand after couple of years. So think upon it and then reply what you want to do ahead?
